What's your better picture for education? Tell us for your chance to win $1000 for your P&C.

The Barnett Government has budgeted $1.8 million over three financial years (2014/15,2015/16 and 2016/17) telling you their 'bigger picture' for education, including a second round of education advertising worth $500,000 this year.

All we've seen is school budgets cut, bigger class sizes, fewer education assistants and less support for students.

Wouldn't the money they've spent on advertising be better spent on your school?

Instead of spending money on advertising at a time when our state budget is tight, wouldn't that money be better spent directly on public schools and students?

Tell us how your school community would better spend the money to improve the quality of education for your students.

P&C's, school boards and school councils, we're asking how your school would better spend $500,000 to make a real difference to the quality of education for your students?

Our competition is simple. We want to know how your school could use extra funding. Submit your entry in whatever format best shows how your school would use the money. We encourage creative use of language, photos or even a video. Anything goes!

Finalists will be displayed on this website and our Facebook page.

(Entries close 17th of June 2016. Finalists will be notified shortly after and the competition will be drawn in Week 10 of Term 2.)
